As substitute teachers we experience all kinds of situations. Each of us could tell story after story of bizarre events that we've experienced. I stumbled across one story today that I don't think any of us have experienced - a deer in the classroom.

Swing by and read this article. If you do, you'll enjoy a story that involves two substitute teachers and a deer that crashed through the window into the classroom!

What is the most bizarre thing you've experienced while substitute teaching?

I was subbing in the Biology class at the school that I graduated from recently. I saw a student come in and said to myself, she has Turner syndrome ( a genetic syndrome that I have) I hjust know it. I slipped her a note while the class was watching a film. She replied that she was jst going to find out the diagnosis that day. A minute later the phone rang. It was the office dismissing her early. I talked to her in the hall and told her I would leave my contact info for her. I am the support group leader and was diagnosed when I was taking my sophomore Biology class also.
